About the Role
We are seeking a Fire Guard (Project: Jones Beach Bathhouse Project, This is a part time position where we are looking for candidates with FDNY F-01 or S-56 to be able to start immediately and the work runs until September 8th. There are multiple shifts as below.
- Monday - Friday: 2nd shift or night shift (3:30 PM - 11:00 PM OR 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
- Saturday & Sunday: 12 hour shifts (07:00 AM - 7:00 PM OR 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM)
Role & Responsibilities
Conduct routine fire watch patrols to identify and report fire hazards throughout the construction site.
Monitor hot work activities and ensure compliance with FDNY fire safety regulations.
Maintain continuous surveillance of designated work areas and respond promptly to fire safety concerns.
Inspect and ensure fire extinguishers, fire protection equipment, and emergency exits remain accessible and operational.
Requirements
Must hold a valid FDNY F-01 or S-56 Certificate of Fitness
Available for one of the shifts listed above and weekend shifts
