Key Responsibilities
- Mastery of the use and maintenance of specialized fire fighting and crash/rescue equipment.
- Delivering fire prevention services.
- Executing fire fighting and crash/rescue procedures and practices.
Requirements
- Qualify for a "Favorable" federal background investigation.
- Be a US Citizen.
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Possess a valid Utah Driver's License and have a clean driving record.
- Pass NFPA 1582 medical evaluation.
- Complete Firefighter skills attributes.
Qualifications
- Possess DoD Certification or ProBoard/IFSAC equivalent; Fire Fighter II.
- Possess or be able to obtain Airport Fire Fighter, HAZMAT Operations, Driver/Operator Pumper, ARFF & Mobile Water Supply within 1 year of hire.
- Obtain an appropriate U.S. Government Driver License within 1 year of hire.
- Possess current State of Utah Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Certification or National Registry (NREMT) equivalent (with the ability to obtain Utah reciprocity immediately upon hire).
