Key Responsibilities

• Mastery of the use and maintenance of specialized fire fighting and crash/rescue equipment.
• Delivering fire prevention services.
• Executing fire fighting and crash/rescue procedures and practices.

Requirements

• Qualify for a "Favorable" federal background investigation.
• Be a US Citizen.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• Possess a valid Utah Driver's License and have a clean driving record.
• Pass NFPA 1582 medical evaluation.
• Complete Firefighter skills attributes.

Qualifications

• Possess DoD Certification or ProBoard/IFSAC equivalent; Fire Fighter II.
• Possess or be able to obtain Airport Fire Fighter, HAZMAT Operations, Driver/Operator Pumper, ARFF & Mobile Water Supply within 1 year of hire.
• Obtain an appropriate U.S. Government Driver License within 1 year of hire.
• Possess current State of Utah Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Certification or National Registry (NREMT) equivalent (with the ability to obtain Utah reciprocity immediately upon hire).
