Responsibilities

• Manage fire alarm, security, communications, and sprinkler installation projects in commercial, educational, healthcare, and industrial facilities
• Positively represent the company in all client and architect/engineer interactions
• Oversee and communicate project progression from inception to completion, including design, permits, material delivery, labor schedules, and field installation
• Develop comprehensive project plans to meet schedules and budgets
• Conduct Work in Progress meetings
• Understand and follow all published codes, standards, and unique project specifications
• Ensure AHJ requirements and departmental/SOX procedures are followed
• Convey professionalism, fairness, and concern for customers, labor, and management
• Coordinate change orders and drive overall margin improvement on every job
• Apply Project Management methodology across integration, scope, time, cost, quality, human resources, communications, risk, and procurement
• Communicate and report project status to staff, customers, and management
• Manage project resources, duty assignments, responsibilities, and provide technical advice
• Track project expenditures and installation progress; modify schedules as needed
• Maintain full financial accountability, including forecasting trends and integrating client cost structures with company accounting methodology using AIA standards
• Maintain project quality through site inspections and adherence to installation standards
• Provide responsive, professional customer support and ensure timely follow-up on concerns
• Collaborate with Sales representatives to support client relationships and drive customer satisfaction

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or equivalent field
• Five years of fire protection, construction, alarm/detection, or related project management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and understand complex building architectural, mechanical, and electrical documents
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments with strong adherence to deadlines
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for internal and external customers
• Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, including creating tracking spreadsheets, referencing data, and creating macros
• Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivating
• Ability to interact effectively with employees and customers in difficult situations
• Willingness to travel at least 30% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of NFPA and IEC standards, Underwriter’s requirements, and applicable building codes
• NICET Level II or higher certification

Pay

Hiring salary range: $90,000 - $125,000, determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, internal equity, and market alignment. This role includes a competitive bonus plan.
