Fire Extinguisher Technician, Ogden UT

This position is based out of our Salt Lake City office, but we need a technician who lives north of Salt Lake—between Bountiful and Ogden. Experience is great, but not required—we provide full training.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, and repair commercial kitchen fire suppression systems.
• Perform annual testing and maintenance of fire extinguishers.
• Inspect and maintain emergency and exit lighting.
• Complete inspection reports and daily paperwork using a company-provided iPad.
• Service existing clientele and build new relationships to grow the customer base.

Requirements

• Must reside between Bountiful and Ogden.
• Ability to use hand and battery-operated tools.
• Comfortable working independently and managing time efficiently.
• Strong communication skills in English—both written and verbal.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
• Willingness to work occasional overtime and travel overnight when needed.

Physical Requirements

• Work on ladders, scaffolding, and stairs.
• Lift and carry up to 70 lbs.
• Work indoors and outdoors in various conditions.

Pay

This position pays $20 per hour plus commissions.
