Fire Camp Worker
About the role
Join us at Fire Camp, where you'll serve as a key member of our team providing support during disaster relief efforts. You'll be responsible for free food and snacks, free uniforms, and training & development opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Self-starter, leadership ability, organizational skills, and commitment to excellence in serving the firefighters and others who keep our communities safe during disasters.
- Able to work a physically demanding general labor job while alternating early and late sleep/work shifts.
- Able to get along with a small group of coworkers and create a positive, conflict-free working environment.
- Able to follow directions and produce consistent results.
Requirements
- Able to work with minimal phone and internet access in heat, cold, and smoky environments for up to 13 days.
- Prior fire camp, banquet service, kitchen prep, maintenance, or similar experience is preferred.
- Drivers with Class A CDLs are preferred.
Qualifications
- Applicants MUST be able to obtain their Washington Food Handler Card online upon acceptance of position, if offered.

Schedule
Available with 18 hours' notice for 7 to 13 days of tent camping in heat, cold, and smoky environments with limited phone and internet access.
