What You’ll Do Assist with the installation, service, and maintenance of fire alarm systemsWork alongside experienced technicians to learn the tradeKeep job sites clean, safe, and organizedUse hand tools and basic power toolsLoad, unload, and organize materialsFollow safety protocols and complete required paperworkTravel occasionally if needed for jobs outside the immediate area Requirements What We’re Looking For: No experience required; we’ll train the right candidate who demonstrates reliability, motivation, and a desire to grow with usLow voltage experience preferredHistory of longer-term employment in previous positionsMechanically inclined with a strong work ethicWilling to learn and grow in the fire protection industryReliable, punctual, and able to follow directionsAble to communicate effectively in EnglishComfortable working on ladders, lifts, and in active construction settingsMust have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record Physical Requirements Able to lift up to 70 lbsAble to kneel, crouch, climb, and work in tight spacesComfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditionsAbility to work full shifts on your feet and travel to job sites Why Join State Fire Idaho?
