About the role
The Fire Alarm Technician will perform installation, inspection, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and system checkout activities of fire alarm and critical life safety systems in accordance with local codes, company procedures, and engineering drawings.
Responsibilities
- Installation of fire alarm systems — addressable and conventional
- Inspection, testing, and service of existing systems
- Commercial and multifamily new construction rough-in and trim
- Troubleshooting and repair of malfunctioning systems
- Documentation, panel programming, and as-built updates
- Other duties as assigned to support business operations
Requirements
- Prior experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems in commercial and industrial settings or directly related experience
- Solid understanding of fire alarm codes, standards, and regulations, including NFPA 72 (National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code) and relevant building and fire codes
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals for fire alarm equipment
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently
- NICET II certification
- Preferred: State or local fire alarm licensing where applicable

- Outdoor industrial sites with exposure to weather extremes
- Potential exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, or other environmental factors
- Compliance with all applicable safety regulations, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and Loenbro's Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) policies

Pay
Colorado Pay Range: $34 USD - $45 USD
