Responsibilities

  • Installation of fire life safety and other low voltage systems in medium and large commercial buildings.
  • Lay out and provide direction to CSI installers on site as well as coordinate and communicate with the Project Manager to efficiently complete the project on time and on budget.
  • Program or are experienced with programming low voltage systems including fire alarm, nurse call, access control, security, or CCTV.
  • Execute the installation project plan provided, including equipment delivery, trouble shooting, commissioning, and interfacing with other trades to successfully complete projects while exceeding customer's expectations.
  • Resolve field problems through research of multiple alternatives.
  • Meet with code officials to arrange for building permits, code issues, and discuss intended wiring and installation methods.
  • Coordinate project activities with other trades at the work locations to optimize installation time.
  • Communicate and interact effectively with other contractors and building owners.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics, and operational product manuals.
  • Identify out of scope requests by the contractor or customer and notify management of pending changes.
  • Aid customers on site with all questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Effectively communicate project status to management.
  • Complete all appropriate company paperwork as required.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Industry related BICSI, NICET and/or State Certification is preferred.
  • FASA/BASA preferred.

Pay

USD $25.00 - USD $40.00 /Hr.
