About the role
Responsible for overseeing the installation and maintenance of fire alarm systems in commercial buildings. Manage projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with local building codes and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the design, installation, and testing of fire alarm systems.
- Ensure all systems comply with local building codes and industry standards.
- Coordinate with contractors and other professionals to ensure project timelines are met.
- Provide technical support and training to building staff on fire safety procedures.
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance to ensure system functionality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in fire protection engineering or related field.
- Knowledge of NFPA 72 and NFPA 101 standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass a background check.
Skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other drafting software.
- Experience with fire alarm system manufacturers such as Honeywell, Johnson Controls, and others.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Pay
