Fire Alarm Service Technician

About the role

Responsible for maintaining and repairing fire alarm systems in commercial buildings. Conduct inspections, troubleshoot issues, and perform necessary repairs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect fire alarm systems to ensure proper functioning
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in fire alarm systems
• Install new fire alarm components as needed
• Communicate with building management to address system issues
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to OSHA standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• At least 2 years of related experience in fire protection or similar field
• Knowledge of fire alarm systems and installation techniques
• Ability to work independently and under pressure

Qualifications

• First aid and CPR certification
• Experience with ladder work and confined spaces
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
