Key Responsibilities
- Work under the direct supervision of a qualified Fire Alarm Technician.
- Assist with the layout, assembly, installation, testing, inspection, maintenance, and servicing fire alarm systems.
- Learn to identify and troubleshoot system issues by following established procedures and safety protocols.
- Support daily field work using hand tools and basic equipment as directed.
- Represent Encore in a professional manner while interacting with customers, both directly and indirectly.
- Participate in training programs to build your technical expertise and industry knowledge.
What You Bring To The Table
- Minimum of one year of experience in electrical work or a related technical field preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and genuine interest in technical learning.
- Ability to work at heights and lift at least 50 pounds.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, with willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Interest in the construction or fire protection industry, including experience using hand tools and reading basic blueprints.
What Makes You Stand Out
- Formal trade school or technical training in electrical, low voltage, or a related field.
- Previous experience assisting with fire alarm, security, or other low voltage system work.
- Experience working on active construction sites and following job site safety practices.
Pay & Benefits
Salary commensurate with experience with opportunity for a results-driven bonus based on personal output and effectiveness in role. Expected hourly range between $20 - $30 per hour.
