About the role

Responsible for inspecting fire alarm systems to ensure compliance with local codes and regulations. Conducts inspections, provides recommendations for maintenance and upgrades, and prepares reports.

Responsibilities

• Inspect fire alarm systems to ensure compliance with local codes and regulations
• Conducts inspections, provides recommendations for maintenance and upgrades
• Prepares detailed inspection reports
• Communicates findings and recommendations to building owners and managers
• Ensures all inspections are conducted in accordance with industry standards and best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in fire protection or related field
• Knowledge of NFPA 72 and other relevant codes and standards
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to travel up to 50%

Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with fire alarm systems and related equipment
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail

Pay

• $50,000 - $60,000 annually
