About the role

We are seeking a Fire Alarm Designer to join our dynamic team. This position offers a chance to contribute to project design from inception to completion, manage teams, and ensure compliance with codes and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee project design progression from inception to completion, including design, permits, as-builts, and operations and maintenance manuals.
  • Develop a comprehensive design plan to meet schedules and budgets.
  • Participate in team and on-site progress meetings.
  • Understand and follow all published codes, standards, and unique project specifications.
  • Ensure adherence to AHJ requirements and procedures.
  • Multi-task and prioritize assignments with strong adherence to deadlines.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in the design of special hazard suppression and pre-engineered systems.
  • Previous experience working in AutoCAD or Revit.
  • Knowledge of low voltage wiring and experience with special hazard fire suppression systems.
  • A commitment to exceptional customer service, maintaining industry knowledge, and task execution with great detail.
  • NICET Certification preferred.
