A dynamic and innovative Fire Alarm and ICT/Low Voltage Systems Designer is needed for our expanding team in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and a passion for technology.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement fire alarm systems and low voltage infrastructure
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards
• Perform system testing and commissioning to ensure proper functionality
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing systems
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in fire protection and ICT technologies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in fire alarm and/or low voltage systems design
• Knowledge of NFPA 72, UL 268, and other relevant codes and standards
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other design software
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
