FinOps Engineer

About the role

Design, build, and maintain scalable solutions for cloud cost monitoring, allocation, and optimization. Develop automated pipelines to ingest, transform, and analyze cloud billing and usage data. Create and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions using AWS QuickSight to provide actionable cost insights. Partner with engineering teams to implement cost-efficient architectures and enforce FinOps best practices. Identify and implement automated cost optimization strategies such as rightsizing, scheduling, savings plans, and spot usage.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
• 3-6+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, FinOps, or a related technical role
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, Cost Explorer, CUR)
• Proven experience building dashboards and visualizations using AWS QuickSight
• Experience working with AWS Cost and Usage Reports (CUR) and billing datasets
