Finishing Technician

About the role

The Finishing Technician is responsible for applying finishes to metal components using various techniques such as spray painting, buffing, and polishing. This position requires attention to detail and adherence to quality control standards.

Responsibilities

• Apply finishes to metal components using spray painting, buffing, and polishing techniques.
• Ensure all work meets quality control standards and customer specifications.
• Operate and maintain finishing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow safety protocols and participate in regular safety training.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or finishing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read and follow blueprints and technical drawings.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a standing position for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Experience with spray painting and buffing equipment.
• Knowledge of metalworking processes and materials.
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
