About the role

To clean, finish, and deburr products following Arthrex Manufacturing processes and procedures to ensure superior quality for our clients. This position is on the Weekend Shift (Friday through Sunday, 6 am to 6 pm) at our Pendleton, SC manufacturing location.

Responsibilities

• Consistently follow operating procedures
• Meet productivity and quality goals
• Perform various tasks necessary to manufacture the product
• Determine materials and tools required for operations
• Encode production activity and output accurately in manufacturing software
• Record accurate time in SAP to reflect true time spent on jobs

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Full working knowledge of mechanical equipment
• Good eye/hand dexterity and attention to detail
• Ability to deburr, tumble, sandblast, polish, and finish metals
• Manual dexterity for handling tools and equipment
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form
• Comprehend and apply mathematical principles relevant to the job
• Effectively communicate ideas verbally and in writing
• Record data and information as required by procedures

Physical Demands

• Exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 10 to 25 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly
• Visual acuity necessary to perform the job safely and effectively

Work Environment

The employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level is usually moderate.
