Finishing Carpenter

About the role

Perform a variety of job duties related to general residential home repairs and aesthetic modifications, not limited to but including drywall repairs, carpentry and painting.

Primary Duties And Accountabilities

• Works independently or under direct supervision, applying established procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.
• Performs clerical duties necessary to complete job work orders.
• Maintains proper truck stock and equipment maintenance.
• Independently makes needed repairs or modifications of drywall applications, framing applications, and/or painting applications.
• Assists in other advanced applications of repairs or modifications.
• Perform various specific job duties as assigned by the Team Leaders and Department Manager.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5 years of work experience, or a combination of work and accredited trade or vocational training in basic carpentry, and general home repair procedures.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the use of tools and materials related to the modifications of residential home repairs.
• Eligibility to meet Company driving standards, including possession of a valid driver's license.
• Demonstrates skills in customer relations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge and hands-on experience in the field of carpentry.
• Expertise in finishing dry wall or damage repair.
