Finishing and Blasting Operator- First Shift

Roles And Responsibilities

• Operate machines as programmed or perform manual processes with limited direct supervision.
• Communicate any malfunctions or quality issues immediately to a supervisor.
• Deburr, polish, and blast parts to prepare them for coating.
• Operate blasting equipment as required.
• Inspect parts for visual defects and anomalies.
• Apply knowledge of standard Mil-Spec dimensions commonly used on firearms components.
• Work safely and follow all company safety procedures.
• Maintain production and quality goals within department timelines.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and keep a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a machine operator.
• Basic math skills, including fundamental geometry.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Acknowledge and follow instructions accurately.
