Finisher I Weekend Shift

This position supports our Weekend Night Shift working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 5 PM to 5 AM. You will work 36 hours and be paid for 40 hours plus earn a 15% pay premium.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and conformally coat various products, including electronic boards, by adding epoxy and operating bonding, Parylene, underfill, and Hotmelt equipment.
• Read and follow detailed instructions to ensure products are created efficiently and correctly.
• Undergo intensive training, which may initially require working 1st or 2nd shift until certified by the engineering department to work independently on the weekend shift.
• Interpret assembly instructions, listen to directions from supervisors, and verify all parts are present.
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and parts lists.
• Assemble tools and materials, position parts and subassemblies, and interpret measurements to verify specifications.
• Assemble components, use calipers to meet specifications, and resolve assembly or production issues.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform repairs as needed after training completion.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Report errors in the product line or system using software such as Solumina, Tip-QA, PLM, or Paperless.
• Complete quality products and update their status in the system.
• Place orders for supplies as needed if parts are short or require replacement.
• Work with chemicals to apply coating and masking on boards.
• Operate Parylene machines to coat boards with conformal coating, including spraying and touch-up as required by processes.
• Perform underfill on components, including but not limited to BGA, connectors, QFN’s, fine-pitch parts, and quads parts.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of work experience or equivalent experience in lieu of a High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience assembling electronic boards with the highest quality required for product classification class.

Skills

• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to interpret assembly instructions and blueprints.
• Understanding of measurements and dimensions, including the use of calipers.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve assembly or production issues.
• Experience with software such as Solumina, Tip-QA, PLM, or Paperless for recording and reporting.

Pay

Full-Time Salary Range: $40,003 - $64,006. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, and candidate qualifications such as skills, education, and experience.
