Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Move pallets of fabric throughout the department.
- Follow detailed production specifications and work instructions.
- Load and unload fabric into and from finishing machines.
- Operate production equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect fabric to ensure finished products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Clean machines and work areas throughout the shift.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
Skills and Qualifications
- Basic industrial sewing skills preferred.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.
- Stand and walk on concrete floors for the duration of the scheduled shift.
- Work in wet and slippery conditions.
- Climb ladders and stairs as needed.
- Frequently push and pull pallet jacks and carts weighing up to 1,000 pounds.
- Regularly bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.
- Use hands and fingers to grasp, manipulate, and handle materials and equipment.
Education and Experience
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Previous manufacturing or production experience is preferred.
- Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience will be considered.
Work Environment
- Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, heat, moisture, and chemicals.
- Employees are required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety guidelines.
