FINISH OPERATOR

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Move pallets of fabric throughout the department.
• Follow detailed production specifications and work instructions.
• Load and unload fabric into and from finishing machines.
• Operate production equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect fabric to ensure finished products meet quality standards and specifications.
• Clean machines and work areas throughout the shift.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulations.

Skills and Qualifications

• Basic industrial sewing skills preferred.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.
• Stand and walk on concrete floors for the duration of the scheduled shift.
• Work in wet and slippery conditions.
• Climb ladders and stairs as needed.
• Frequently push and pull pallet jacks and carts weighing up to 1,000 pounds.
• Regularly bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.
• Use hands and fingers to grasp, manipulate, and handle materials and equipment.

Education and Experience

• A High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Previous manufacturing or production experience is preferred.
• Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience will be considered.

Work Environment

• Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, heat, moisture, and chemicals.
• Employees are required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety guidelines.
