Job Summary

As a member of Management, you will be the heartbeat of our store, responsible for managing daily operations, inspiring a high‑performance team, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You’ll have the autonomy to shape the store’s success and contribute to our company’s growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and develop a motivated team; foster a positive work environment, set clear goals, and provide ongoing feedback.
• Create an exceptional shopping experience by addressing customer needs, resolving issues, and maintaining high service standards.
• Drive store sales and profitability through effective merchandise management, promotional strategies, and achieving sales targets.
• Oversee daily operations including inventory management, visual merchandising, and store maintenance; ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations.
• Manage store budgets, control expenses, and analyze sales data to optimize performance and drive revenue growth.
• Implement local marketing initiatives and build strong community relationships to enhance brand presence and attract new customers.
• Stay current with industry trends and competitor activities; identify improvement opportunities and implement innovative solutions.
• Perform additional duties and projects as required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or similar role with a track record of achieving sales targets and managing a team.
• Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Passion for delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable shopping experiences.
• Analytical skills to analyze sales data, manage budgets, and make data‑driven decisions.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency with retail management software and basic computer applications.
• High School Diploma or GED; 2+ years of retail leadership experience preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old, speak and read English clearly, have reliable transportation, and be able to perform business‑related mathematics.
• Willingness to relocate within the company’s network based on operational needs and career growth.

Physical Demands

• Prolonged standing (5–14 hours per day); longer periods during peak sales periods.
• Stooping, kneeling, reaching, and pulling to place or stock merchandise.
• Climbing ladders or stairs to stock or retrieve merchandise.
• Regularly lifting items weighing 5–25 lb (heavier loads may be required).
• Good vision, including color differentiation, in a moderately noisy retail environment.

Compensation

• Assistant Store Manager: $19.00 – $19.50 per hour plus bonus opportunities tied to store KPIs.
• Supervisor: $18.71 – $19.21 per hour.
• All roles are eligible for the company 401(k) plan.

Schedule & Availability

• Open availability to open and close the store (mornings, days, nights).
• Minimum standard work week: 5 days (44 hours for Assistant Manager; 30 hours for Supervisor), with increased hours during peak periods.

• Punctuality and regular attendance consistent with company policies.
