Finish Coater A Operator- First Shift

Responsibilities

• Works from shop order, schedules, and special instruction
• Keeps work area in a clean and orderly condition
• Understands and complies with the fundamental principles associated with the Quality and Environmental Management System in place at BlueScope
• Communicates daily with internal personnel from Production and Quality Control to assist in resolving problems and achieving company goals

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Knowledge of basic hand and power tools
• Signed off as a Coater Assistant or Prime Coater Operator
• Preferred: 6+ months of experience operating mobile equipment in a manufacturing environment

Skills & Competencies

• Basic computer skills
• Time Management – prioritizing work to meet internal and/or external customer demands
• Detail Oriented – ensures accuracy of product and documentation to meet internal and/or external customer demands
• Good communication skills
• Mobile equipment operations skills
