About the role
The Fine Jewelry Associate drives sales and delivers a positive customer experience by providing excellent service through building client relationships and offering expert guidance in selection of fine jewelry merchandise. This role requires genuine enthusiasm for the fashion and jewelry industry, a competitive drive, and confidence to excel in a commission-based, hourly position.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ownership, accountability, and initiative in achieving store objectives and driving personal and store key metrics.
- Create memorable store experiences by building genuine relationships with team members, vendors, customers, and the community.
- Build customer loyalty through excellent service, clienteling tools, and tailored product advice to meet client needs.
- Execute promotions, special events, trunk shows, and customer outreach to maximize performance and drive sales.
- Utilize selling tools and digital devices to provide a seamless omnichannel experience, including inventory and product details.
- Enhance customer experience by suggesting fine jewelry service plans and offering additional services like repair estimates and minor repairs.
- Leverage training tools, vendor resources, and feedback to build product knowledge and expertise in industry trends and fine jewelry.
- Encourage repeat client interactions as a trusted resource.
- Merchandise and replenish products timely while maintaining visual merchandising, signing, and fine jewelry caseline standards.
- Contribute to a positive store culture by building connections with teammates, sharing knowledge, and celebrating achievements.
- Support fulfillment and asset protection by executing omni and operations processes, maintaining product protection standards, and following security protocols.
Requirements

- Ability to take ownership of tasks and contribute to store success.
- Self-directed with the ability to work with minimal supervision in a deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Comfortable with technology, including smartphones, tablets, and Windows-based operating systems.
- Available to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must regularly move around all store areas and be accessible to customers.
- Must be able to bend, reach, stretch for products, and lift, carry, and move at least 40 lbs.
