Findlay Mazda Service Porter

Responsibilities

• Drives vehicles to and from service areas and lot as needed
• Aid with vehicle flow within dealership as service tickets are generated
• Provide customer courtesy washes as requested
• Inspect vehicles to detect damage and verify the presence of accessories listed on the invoice
• Record the description of damages and list missing items on the delivery receipt
• Service vehicles in storage to protect tires, battery, and finish against deterioration
• Cleaning and upkeep: Keep work areas clean and organized
• Greet and assist customers: Provide directions, answer basic questions, or help with simple requests
• Enhance experience: Ensure areas are tidy and presentable so customers feel comfortable

Qualifications

• Able to operate both automatic and manual transmissions
• Enthusiastic
• Friendly
• Minimum of 18 years old with a current, valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• This position requires the ability to bend, kneel, walk or stand for long periods of time in all types of weather
