About the role
EECU is seeking a bilingual Financial Center Consultant I (Teller) for their Little Road location in Arlington. This position aims to create energy and excitement around EECU products and services, providing tailored solutions and products for members.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain positive member experiences through constant personal interaction.
- Deliver a comprehensive service and sales experience, aiming to exceed monthly sales goals.
- Perform a wide range of member service functions, including teller transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing.
- Solve operational issues proactively and support marketing initiatives within the branch.
- Build exceptional rapport with members, focusing on developing sincere relationships.
- Assist members in the lobby, greeting them, answering calls, and directing them to appropriate employees when necessary.
Requirements
- One to two years of minimum experience in a retail or financial environment, emphasizing excellent service and rapport-building with members.
- Daily cash handling with accuracy, balancing without overages or shortages.
- Strong communication skills, comfortable conversing freely and comfortably in both English and Spanish.
- Enthusiasm, professionalism, and a high level of ownership and accountability.
- The ability to prioritize multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A good listener with an approachable demeanor, capable of problem-solving and empathy.
- Relevant computer skills, solid math and written communication abilities.
- A high school diploma or equivalent education.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience relevant to the retail or financial environment.
- Ability to solve operational issues and support marketing initiatives.
- Proactive in initiating and supporting marketing initiatives within the branch.
- Responsible for building exceptional rapport with members.
- Responsible for lobby coverage, including greeting members, answering calls, and assisting or directing them to appropriate employees.

Commensurate with experience.
Schedule
Monday-Friday: 7:30am- 6:15pm
Saturdays: 8:45am-1:15pm
