Financial Systems & Solutions Intern (Summer 2027)
Responsibilities
- Support ERP system configuration activities, testing efforts, and documentation updates.
- Assist in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving accounting and financial system issues.
- Analyze business processes and recommend system or process enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) for system enhancements, upgrades, and new functionality.
- Aid in maintaining process documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials.
- Partner with Accounting, Finance, and IT teams to gather business requirements and support solution development.
- Help monitor and validate financial data integrity within ERP and reporting systems.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end activities as needed through system and reporting analysis.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and data analyses to support business and accounting needs.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation, standardization, and process optimization.
- Assist with special projects and ad hoc analyses as assigned.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Completed at least two years of undergraduate coursework.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
About the Role
The Financial Systems & Solutions Intern will support the Accounting organization by assisting with ERP configurations, process enhancements, and system-driven issue resolution across the Americas region. This role provides exposure to accounting operations, financial systems, process improvement initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration with Accounting, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders.
