Financial Systems Analyst - Eurofins Environment Testing - Lancaster, PA

About the role

The Financial Systems Analyst is responsible for managing financial coding in the Eurofins Environment (USA) Laboratory Information Management System and ensuring alignment between sales invoicing and the accounting system. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing financial coding in the LIMS system
• Adding new coding to the financial coding portal
• Performing financial analysis and modeling
• Maintaining and automating data tie-outs between LIMS and accounting systems
• Providing integrated systems planning and recommending new technologies to enhance current systems
• Acting as a liaison between Finance and IT teams

Responsibilities

• Strong familiarity with accounting for sales and intercompany transactions
• Knowledge of SQL and Power BI
• Experience with tie-outs of data between operational and finance systems
• Experience with Oracle EPM or Hyperion
• Creating value-added recommendations for system enhancements
• Automating invoicing tie-outs from LIMS to accounting software
• Ensuring financial systems align with organizational needs and business goals

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Computer Science or related discipline
• 5+ years of experience in a corporate IT solutions role, preferably supporting or customizing financial systems
• Several years of experience with SQL and strong understanding of accounting for sales and intercompany transactions
• Experience with tie-outs of data between operational and finance systems
• Experience working between Finance/Accounting and IT departments
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives
• Good business acumen
