Financial Specialist (Must Be Able to Obtain a Secret Clearance) with Security Clearance

Responsibilities

  • Managing the financial operations of the site by executing the government's financial plans.
  • Maintaining accounting and funds control in coordination with the 22nd Space Force Operations Squadron(SOPS/RA).
  • Formulating budget recommendations and financial plans, and providing financial reports as directed by the government.
  • Maintaining project funds and organization cost center record data.
  • Preparing outgoing funding document requests.
  • Maintaining miscellaneous obligation reimbursement documents and funding site authorizations.
  • Coinciding with Financial Management (FM), Accounting Liaison Office (ALO), Functional Organizations, Contracting and 22 SOPS/RA on funding issues.
  • Entering all required funding documents in the Automated Business Services System (ABSS) for government review and action.
  • Conducting quantitative analyses of information affecting budgets, expenses, and other financial projects.
  • Collecting and analyzing financial information for assigned accounts, products or product lines, or businesses in order to track the organization's progress against financial goals.
  • Reporting current or expected financial performance and creating financial models to guide decision making.
  • Assists in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, or annual financial statements.

Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
  • High school diploma preferably with at least five (5) years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated training and management skills.
  • Analytic skills to determine the cause of finance and deciding what corrective action to take to fix any problems.
  • Ability to understand, interpret and apply regulatory requirements applicable to the project scope of work.
  • Demonstrates good customer service skills working with military personnel.
  • Demonstrates time management skills to achieve personal, team, project, and corporate objectives as related to quality assurance.

Pay
