Financial Specialist, Cost Reporting
About the role
Serves as the Lead Cost Report position in preparing the annual Medicare/Medicaid Cost Reports and providing periodic (monthly/quarterly) estimates of third-party cost report reserves. Works closely with the Reimbursement Manager to ensure the timeliness of cost report submission, intermediary audits (including cost report audits, wage index audits, and occupational mix audits), and data collections as required by outside vendors. Also involved in the review and submission of the annual uncompensated care survey to the state of North Carolina.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration
- 5 years of experience in Accounting/Finance with a focus on reimbursement
