As a Financial Specialist, you will serve as a single touchpoint for clients, minimizing hand-offs and providing tailored financial solutions to expand relationships while embracing the Pinnacle Way.
Responsibilities
- Deliver distinctive service to clients and prospects in person and over the telephone, resolving inquiries and issues satisfactorily.
- Support the firm-wide "three-ring standard" by ensuring all phones are answered by a live person within three rings.
- Greet and acknowledge clients as they enter the office, assisting with banking transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, and balance inquiries, as well as performing office capture duties.
- Adhere to Pinnacle guidelines for check cashing, Regulation CC, and new account opening to minimize risk.
- Ensure compliance with firm policies, procedures, and all applicable federal and state regulations.
- Open new accounts, process paperwork, verify client credentials, and obtain supporting documentation.
- Provide client support for general services, including account maintenance, instant-issue debit cards, safe deposit box assistance, research, affidavits, notary services, wire transfers, check orders, foreign currency, interest rate inquiries, and ATM assistance.
- Prioritize and make on-the-spot decisions regarding client requests, balancing client satisfaction with firm exposure to loss or fraud.
- Monitor and manage required reports to ensure operational excellence.
- Provide operational support to the Office Leader.
- Address all of the client’s financial needs, both business and personal, and refer clients to specialty areas such as Trust, Investments, Insurance, and Treasury Management as appropriate.
- Assist other team members to ensure delivery of distinctive service.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in financial services or related field; 10 years preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or related software.
- Knowledge of federal banking regulations and compliance.
- Broad knowledge of bank products and services.
