Responsibilities
- Maintain financial documentation according to policy and present to all internal and external auditors upon request.
- Document and bill service hours for each assigned client following LSS GO policy and procedures.
- Handle all finances associated with the client’s estate, including but not limited to payment of bills, reconciling accounts, handling deposits, etc.
Requirements
- A two-year associate’s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of two years of experience in accounting, banking or customer service is required.
- Coordinating skills required to organize and maintain separate financial records for 30 to 60 individual clients.
- Computer literacy, spreadsheets, word processing and basic budgeting is required.
- Strong communication skills are required to work as a team and present financial information in a conscientious manner.
- Able to be a good listener and ask questions.
- Strong administrative skills needed to monitor financial data and interrupt financial policies and procedures.
- Able to work under pressure and handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner.
Qualifications
- A DHS criminal background check is required.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail regarding financial tasks (paying bills, transferring assets, depositing client funds).
- Good planning and organizational skills; able to determine priorities and manage time appropriately.
- Sound judgment and problem-solving skills required to analyze problems regarding best interests of clients.
