About the role

BTC Connect is seeking a detail-orientated and analytical Financial Specialist to join our dynamic finance team.

Responsibilities

• Conducting detailed financial analysis to support business decisions and identify trends.
• Preparing and presenting comprehensive financial reports, including monthly and quarterly statements, for senior management.
• Assisting in the development of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitoring spending and financial performance, comparing actuals against budgets and providing variance analysis.
• Managing day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Performing account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Aiding in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Proven experience working as a Financial Specialist, Financial Analyst, or in a similar role.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial modelling.
• Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive and collaborative approach to working within a team.
