About the Role
As a Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I), your journey begins with obtaining your Securities Industry licenses, including dedicated and personalized classes for your Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 Exams. Once licensed, you will learn foundational skills to become an advisor—acquiring, building, and managing client relationships while guiding clients through their complex financial needs with tailored advice and solutions.
You will start in a financial center, delivering Bank of America’s core banking and investment solutions. The role includes structured development stages, with progression to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II upon success, where you will deepen client relationships within a portfolio. Long-term career advancement opportunities exist across Bank of America and Merrill.
This position requires SAFE Act registration, including a background check and federal registry system compliance. Failure to maintain registration may result in termination.
Responsibilities
- Complete required licensing (SIE within 30 days; Series 7 and 66 within 120 days).
- Use a consultative approach to identify client needs and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
- Build and manage relationships with banking customers, small business owners, and higher net-worth clients.
- Provide end-to-end financial advice, deliver client reviews, and recommend strategies to help clients achieve financial goals.
- Collaborate with core banking and investment partners to connect clients with Bank of America and Merrill solutions.
- Leverage Bank of America’s broad client network to grow your business.
- Execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing client interests.

Qualifications
- Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) (desired).
- Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience (desired).

Schedule
Full-time, 40 hours per week. Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays required. Training will occur at a designated financial center, followed by a potential phone-based role until a permanent financial center location is assigned within a reasonable commuting distance.
