Financial Solutions Advisor Registration Candidate - Southern TN Market
About the role
This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. Pursuant to the SAFE Act requirements, all employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the federal registry system and remain in good standing. Since your position requires SAFE Act registration, you will be required to register and to submit to the required SAFE Act background check and registration process. Failure to obtain and/or maintain SAFE Act registration may result in your immediate termination.
Responsibilities
- Obtain required industry licenses (Securities Industry Essentials [SIE], Series 7 and Series 66)
- Receive dedicated and personalized classes for your SIE, Series 7 and Series 66 Exams
- Teach foundational skills needed to be an advisor, including acquiring, building and managing client relationships
- Guide clients with advice and solutions to help them live their best financial lives
- Humanize financial interactions
- Work in a financial center to help deliver Bank of America's core banking, investment solutions, and approach to client care
- Grow and deepen relationships within a portfolio of clients
- Advance in various roles within Bank of America and Merrill
- Build a successful career at Bank of America through world-class training and on-boarding programs
- Get training and one-on-one coaching from Academy managers who are invested in your success
- Grow your business knowledge by using a defined consultative approach with clients to systematically identify client needs and appropriate solutions
- Earn your Security Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7 and Series 66 licenses (63 & 65 accepted, in lieu of 66) through structured lessons and dedicated study time
- Build your network by interacting with banking customers, small business owners, and higher net worth clients
- Provide end-to-end comprehensive advice, deliver client reviews/presentations with confidence, and recommend strategies to help clients achieve their financial goals and life priorities
- Collaborate with core banking and investment partners to connect clients to the solutions provided by Bank of America and Merrill
Requirements
- Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses
- Self-disciplined in managing time and capacity
- Experience in cultivating client relationships, accessing needs, and recommending solutions
- Success creating strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration
- Demonstrates a results-driven mindset while prioritizing client’s interest in a complex, fast-paced environment
- Executes multiple tasks simultaneously
- Learns and adapts to new technology or applications
Qualifications
- Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE)
- Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience

Monday – Fridays and rotating Saturdays
Location
This position is open for the entire market and the specific Financial Center location will be based on business needs. If you are offered a position, you will train at one financial center, and then potentially begin your role in a phone based capacity until another financial center location has been determined to move to that is within a reasonable commuting distance of your home to the extent permitted by applicable law.
