About the role
As a Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I), your journey begins with obtaining your Securities Industry licenses, including dedicated and personalized classes for your Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 Exams. Once licensed, you will learn foundational advisory skills—acquiring, building, and managing client relationships while addressing complex financial needs with tailored advice and solutions.
You will start in a financial center, delivering core banking and investment solutions. After demonstrating success, you typically progress to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, deepening client relationships and advancing within Bank of America or Merrill. The Academy provides ongoing support, tools, and resources throughout your career.
This position requires SAFE Act registration, including background checks. Failure to maintain registration may result in termination.
Responsibilities
- Complete Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) within 30 days and Series 7 & 66 within 120 days of hire.
- Use a consultative approach to identify client needs and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
- Build and manage relationships with banking customers, small business owners, and higher net worth clients.
- Provide end-to-end financial advice, conduct client reviews, and recommend strategies to meet financial goals.
- Collaborate with banking and investment partners to connect clients with Bank of America and Merrill solutions.
- Leverage relationships with one out of two U.S. households to grow your business.
Requirements
- Aptitude for obtaining required industry licenses (SIE, Series 7, Series 66).
- Self-discipline in managing time and workload.
- Experience cultivating client relationships, assessing needs, and recommending solutions.
- Ability to build strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on client interests in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to new technology.
Qualifications
- Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) (desired).
- Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience (desired).

Schedule
Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays required. 1st shift, 40 hours per week.
