About the role

As a Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I), your journey begins with obtaining your Securities Industry licenses. You will receive dedicated and personalized classes for your Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 exams. Once licensed, you will learn foundational advisory skills — acquiring, building, and managing client relationships; considering a client’s complex financial picture; and guiding them with advice and solutions to help them live their best financial lives, all while humanizing financial interactions. After reaching key milestones, you will work in a financial center delivering Bank of America’s core banking, investment solutions, and client care approach. Successful FSAs typically progress to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, where they grow and deepen relationships within a client portfolio, with further advancement opportunities across Bank of America and Merrill. The Academy provides dedicated programs, tools, and resources throughout your career.

This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. All employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the federal registry system and remain in good standing. You will be required to register, submit to the required background check, and maintain registration; failure to do so may result in immediate termination.

The position is open for the entire market; the specific financial center location will be based on business needs. If offered a position, you will train at one financial center, then potentially begin in a phone-based capacity until another financial center within a reasonable commuting distance of your home is determined (to the extent permitted by applicable law).
