About the role

This role is responsible for providing comprehensive advice and customized solutions to clients to help them achieve their financial goals. Key responsibilities include triaging client leads, making referrals to business partners based on client needs and asset thresholds, meeting with clients to review financial and investment goals, building financial plans, and recommending brokerage products. This position may also involve residential mortgage loan origination and requires SAFE Act registration, including background checks. Failure to maintain SAFE Act registration may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.

Responsibilities

  • Works with clients to plan their short- and long-term financial goals by building a financial plan with brokerage products, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and banking and money-managed solutions
  • Recommends banking and investment strategies that align with client financial goals and needs
  • Triages client requests and makes referrals to appropriate internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds
  • Mitigates and controls risk as part of daily activities
  • Identifies and engages potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele
  • Provides coaching and feedback to referral partners based on knowledge of client needs and potential product services recommended

Requirements

  • Currently holds Series 7 and 66 (or the equivalent 63 and 65 in lieu of 66) licenses
  • Minimum of one year of experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in-depth knowledge of investment products and services
  • Minimum of one year of experience working in the financial service industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded
  • Ability to set and accomplish goals, build and nurture strong relationships, and collaborate effectively with others
  • Strong communication skills, comfortable engaging all clients
  • Ability to manage goals, navigate complexity, prioritize tasks, and execute in a fast-paced environment
  • Adaptability to new information and a commitment to seeking the right solutions for clients
  • Efficient time and capacity management
  • Thorough and thoughtful incorporation of relevant regulatory due diligence into daily activities and long-term client strategies

Desired Qualifications

  • Strong computer skills with an ability to multitask in a demanding environment
  • Three or more years of experience working in the financial service industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded
  • Additional professional designations such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and/or Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC)
  • Obtained insurance licenses

Qualifications

High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent

Schedule

Monday – Friday and rotating Saturdays. Full-time, 40 hours per week.
