About the role
At Bank of America, we provide comprehensive advice and customized solutions to clients to help them achieve their financial goals. This role involves triaging client leads, making referrals to business partners based on client needs and asset thresholds, meeting with clients to review financial and investment goals, building financial plans, and recommending brokerage products. This position may also involve residential mortgage loan originations and requires SAFE Act registration, including background checks.
Responsibilities
- Works with clients to plan short and long-term financial goals by building a financial plan with brokerage products, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and banking and money-managed solutions.
- Recommends banking and investment strategies aligned with client financial goals and needs.
- Triages client requests and makes referrals to appropriate internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds.
- Mitigates and controls risk as part of daily activities.
- Identifies and engages potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele.
- Provides coaching and feedback to referral partners based on knowledge of client needs and potential product services recommended.
Requirements
- Currently holds Series 7 and 66 (or equivalent 63 and 65) licenses.
- Minimum of one year of experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in-depth knowledge of investment products and services.
- Minimum of one year of experience working in the financial service industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded.
- Must be able to work Monday through Friday and rotating Saturdays.

- Achieved additional professional designations such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and/or Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC).
- Obtained insurance licenses.

Education
High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent.
Schedule
Monday – Fridays and rotating Saturdays. Full-time, 40 hours per week (1st shift).
