Financial Services Manager | Remote

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate LLM-generated patient financial communications, payment plan recommendations, and self-pay resolution strategies for clinical accuracy, regulatory compliance, and operational soundness
• Lead oversight of self-pay collection operations spanning early-out, bad debt recovery, and payment plan enrollment, monitoring, and conversion
• Develop and assess self-pay collection strategies across the full revenue cycle continuum — pre-service, point-of-service, and post-service
• Monitor and interpret self-pay KPIs including collection rates, payment plan conversion, bad debt write-off ratios, and patient satisfaction benchmarks
• Ensure strict adherence to FDCPA, HIPAA, state collections statutes, and internal financial assistance policy frameworks
• Annotate model outputs and deliver structured evaluative feedback to support training dataset development

Core Requirements

• Demonstrated leadership in patient collections, self-pay revenue cycle, or patient financial services, including direct management of early-out and bad debt programs
• Deep command of FDCPA compliance frameworks and patient financial engagement best practices across the revenue cycle
• Proven vendor oversight experience, including management of collection agencies and early-out partners
• Proficiency with EHR platforms and patient collections or billing systems
• Familiarity with propensity-to-pay tools and patient payment technology platforms
• Exceptional written English communication skills with high attention to detail when reviewing collections strategies and model-generated content

Additional Strengths

• CRCR, CHAM, or equivalent revenue cycle certification
• Experience implementing propensity-to-pay analytics to stratify and prioritise collection outreach
• Background in hospital, health system, or physician group patient financial services environments
