Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality virtual instruction within the financial services curriculum while supporting student engagement, skill development, and career preparation.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills within the financial services field to ensure relevant instruction.
  • Create and maintain a positive classroom environment aligned with educational values and student success goals.
  • Facilitate active learning experiences and use authentic assessment methods to support student achievement.
  • Support the onboarding, training, and development of new and existing instructors when needed.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Possession or previous possession of an insurance license in Life/Health and/or Property/Casualty is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience is preferred.
  • Professional experience or expertise in financial services, insurance, or a related discipline is required.
  • Strong facilitation skills with the ability to engage learners through active teaching methods are essential.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • The ability to adapt teaching approaches to different learning formats and student needs is important.
  • A strong attention to detail and commitment to quality instruction are required.
  • A professionalism, integrity, self-motivation, and dedication to supporting student success are key qualities.
  • The ability to maintain current industry knowledge and apply effective assessment techniques is crucial.
