Financial Research Analyst

Key Accountabilities

• Utilize proprietary software to annotate and structure SEC filings
• Review public filings and press releases for financial disclosures and standardize, database and maintain the information
• Collaborate with team members to establish reporting requirements and to ensure data integrity
• Work on special projects throughout the year that help improve the breadth, depth, and accuracy of our data
• Periods of higher volume each quarter that require the ability to work beyond the standard 40 hours per week which is overtime eligible

Must Have(s)

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or Accounting preferred
• 1–2 years of experience in data analysis, finance, or a related analytical field (open to recent graduates)
• A foundational understanding of stock market principles and a genuine interest in the investment landscape
• Exceptional data entry accuracy with a "zero-error" mindset and a sharp eye for detail
• Absolutely must have the ability to prioritize high-volume tasks and manage multiple projects under tight market deadlines
• A high degree of initiative and the ability to exercise independent judgment when navigating complex data
• The ability to be flexible and work within a collaborative team environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; thrives in both collaborative team settings and independent deep-work sessions
• Strong command of Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, etc.) preferred

Salary Range

Salary Range: $45,000 USD - $50,000 USD

This role is remote, based out of the US West Coast (California, Arizona, Colorado, Oregon, Washington)
