Job Summary
Northwestern Mutual is seeking motivated and client-focused Financial Representatives to help individuals and families achieve their long-term financial goals through personalized financial planning and insurance solutions.Key Responsibilities
Meet with prospective and current clients to discuss financial goals and planning strategiesEducate clients on insurance, retirement, and wealth management solutions
Identify client needs and recommend appropriate financial products and services
Build and maintain long-term client relationships through regular communication and follow-up
Generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and community outreach
Schedule and conduct client meetings and financial reviews
Maintain accurate records of client interactions and business activities within CRM systems
Meet or exceed weekly and monthly performance goals
Stay informed on company products, compliance standards, and financial industry trends
Collaborate with financial advisors and internal teams to enhance the client experience
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent requiredBachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or related field preferred
Previous sales, customer service, financial services, or insurance experience preferred
Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build trust and maintain professional client relationships
Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
Basic computer and CRM proficiency
