About the Role
Provide full-time service of investment and insurance products offered by INTRUST Financial Services through a third-party broker-dealer. May also provide additional related services or sales on a limited basis as requested. Promotes an environment of teamwork within the department and across the bank. Represents INTRUST Bank in the community and focuses on developing new business relationships while maintaining strict standards of confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Provide account servicing to existing INTRUST Financial Services clients with brokerage or direct-business relationships.
- Serve under established best interest and fiduciary standards to build and manage clients’ investments and address ongoing financial needs.
- Refer clients to Financial Advisor I’s and II’s when financial planning or advisory conversations are appropriate.
- Discuss investment product solutions (e.g., mutual funds, annuities, other insurance products, and fixed income products) with customers based on best interest standards when advisory solutions are not applicable.
- Contact existing clients for periodic servicing needs, offer updated solutions, and solicit additional business.
- Initiate and maintain relationships with Banking Center staff to solicit and encourage referrals.
- Refer clients to Consumer Banking and other business lines as needed.
- Meet account retention goals, service-level goals, revenue generation targets, and referral goals to Financial Advisor I’s and II’s for advisory or planning solutions.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2 years of prior experience working with consumers in the financial services business preferred.
- Must be conversant in financial products and service terminology.
- Familiarity with INTRUST Bank’s products and services desired.
- Excellent communication skills.
Qualifications
Employment contingent on passing the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Exam, FINRA Series 7 and 63 Exams, and obtaining appropriate state life & variable annuity insurance licensing.
Physical Demands
- Extended periods of time may be spent viewing a personal computer, sitting, standing, and walking.
- Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.

Working Conditions
Normal office conditions.
