About the role

The team you will be joining is part of State Street Global Services (SSGS). SSGS gives asset owners and managers access to the essential financial tools they need to deliver effective investment solutions. From core custody, accounting, fund administration, and shareholder recordkeeping, to complete operations solutions and servicing for alternative assets like OTC derivatives, private equity, and real estate, SSGS’ tools help clients make better investment choices and act on growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules, and manages the daily workflow of one or more client relationships.
• Ensures timely and accurate deliverables for each client relationship.
• Performs multiple levels of review on client deliverables related to Expense Administration, Distributions, Performance, and Regulatory/Board Reporting.
• Cultivates and maintains positive and effective relationships with clients and coworkers.
• Comprehends the scope of services offered to clients and reviews with staff; identifies and communicates workflow deviations to avoid unwarranted service expansion.
• Oversees the effective coordination of activities with other departments.
• Escalates all delays and issues regarding assigned deliverables timely to AVP.
• Ensures all accounting, client, and auditor issues are researched and resolved timely.
• Ensures all controls and procedures are adhered to and makes recommendations for improvements.
• Ensures effective use of automation and makes recommendations for current system enhancements.
• Provides feedback and recommendations for new mutual fund administration applications.
• Remains informed of regulatory changes and new industry and competitor developments.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and possess strong problem-solving and resolution skills.
• Good understanding of financial services and investment products.
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on service.
• Strong PC skills, specifically Excel skills (Intermediate).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities to meet internal and industry deadlines.
• Strong problem resolution skills.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-volume atmosphere.
• Desire and commitment to learn technical aspects of each deliverable.
• Ability to communicate with various internal teams to resolve inquiries and understanding when to escalate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 4-6 years of related experience in Treasury Services work.

Pay

Salary Range: $60,000 - $101,250 Annual. The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location, the applicable range could differ.
