Financial Reporting Associate

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements for distribution to family clients, investors, lending institutions and other users.
• Manage submissions for all financial reports and ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare monthly closing entries and reconcile accounting records.
• Aid with special projects, including system implementations, and ad-hoc financial analyses.
• Work with outside CPAs for tax planning and compliance and document management.
• Build relationships with clients and discuss financial and tax matters on a regular basis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or other relevant certifications preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a finance-related role.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and QuickBooks Online (QBO).
