Location: New York 10020 (Hybrid)
Shift: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM EST
Responsibilities
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc regulatory reports including, but not limited to:
- Federal Reserve reports (e.g., FR Y-15, FR Y-9C, FFIEC 031, FFIEC 002, FFIEC 009, FFIEC 019, FR2644, FR2900)
- Department of Treasury reports (TIC Reports)
- Department of Commerce reports (e.g., BE-605, BE-15, BE-125)
- Reconcile reporting data to GL, validate static data, and perform variance analysis
- Ensure changes in reporting instructions and accounting standards from regulatory authorities are incorporated into submitted reports
- Assist in maintaining and updating procedure documentation related to new and existing regulatory requirements to ensure firm compliance
- Track assigned tasks and projects, meeting each deadline
- Coordinate with multiple stakeholders across the organization
- Support management and team members
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with an accounting major preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Big 4 or large regional accounting firms (banking or capital market clients), financial accounting, product control, or regulatory reporting; banking experience required
- 2–3 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Experience in BI tools such as Alteryx or Power BI is a plus
- Working knowledge of regulatory reporting or financial reporting
- Basic knowledge of financial products (e.g., loans, deposits, securities, derivatives, money market products, repos)
- US CPA, CFA, or equivalent license is a plus
- Strong ability to handle multiple tasks
Pay
Pay Range: $50–$53 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, and certifications.
