About the role

The Retirement Benefits Group (RBG) at Equitable Advisors is seeking a Financial Professional to assist in growing the market for 403(b) and 457(b) plans among public school, college, university, hospital, nonprofit organization, and municipal government employees.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial products and services, and education to teachers, school administrators, and municipality employees.
• Prospect and accelerate the growth of your career within the defined market.
• Work with senior joint-work partners and be coached by top performers.
• Specialize in various areas including Certified Financial Planner, employee and executive benefits, and other specialized fields.
• Advocate for and help individuals plan for and protect their financial futures.

Requirements

• A four-year college degree is preferred but not required.
• State life and health licenses, SIE, FINRA Series 7 and 66 exams (other designations a plus).
• Results-driven, highly motivated, self-starter with integrity and a strong work ethic.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication abilities, with a high degree of self-confidence.
