Job Summary

This Financial Professional Compensation Consultant supports accounting and operational processes through advanced review activities, customer service support, project coordination, auditing, and continuous improvement initiatives. The position partners closely with internal departments and financial professional offices to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to departmental policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Cook up advanced review processes for financial professional offices and coordinate with internal and external customers to ensure accuracy
  • Assist with organizing, planning, and developing training modules, software, and overall programs for benefit of new and existing staff and financial professionals in regards to Operations departmental policies and procedures
  • Process customer service requests for data updates and advance compensation requests
  • Support customer service related to Accounting and supply information as needed at request of management, company associates, and financial professionals
  • Support Accounting Analysts through preliminary software/data research and testing
  • Cook up Accounting projects ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Audit workloads for the Accounting department and coordinate necessary updates or changes in processes needed due to errors found
  • Work with management to coordinate and adjust workflow as needed to ensure workload is spread
  • Collaborate with the Accounting Department to participate, coordinate, and/or lead Continuous Improvement initiatives

This individual is comfortable coordinating projects, conducting audits, researching data discrepancies, and working cross-functionally with both internal associates and financial professionals. They possess strong communication skills and enjoy supporting training and operational initiatives that improve team effectiveness and service quality. The successful candidate demonstrates adaptability, initiative, and a continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Experience with accounting operations, workflow coordination, and systems such as Workday is highly valued.

Pay and Benefits

Salary Range: $21-24 per hour. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate based on the ideal candidate’s qualifications, the company’s operational needs, and other factors permitted by law. Actual compensation may vary depending on experience, skills, education, performance, internal equity, and geographic location.

Work Environments: This role offers a hybrid schedule, requiring three days weekly in the office. Applicants should be located near one of our hubs (Fairfield, IA or Phoenix, AZ) and must be willing to work this schedule. Cambridge is not considering remote candidates at this time.
