Job Description Ultium Cells seeks a Financial Specialist who is responsible for collecting and studying the financial and operational data to analyze profitability of the business, extracting and defining relevant information. The candidate will dig into complex datasets to analyze trends and translate them into actionable insights for continuous process/profitability improvements. This role also will be able to communicate with cross-functional teams and individuals within the company. Primary Responsibilities & Duties Assist with the budget preparation, financial planning and forecasting update Develop the yearly budget, pro forma financial statements and communicate action plan with the cross functional teamsManage the Monthly Rolling Forecast; communicate with each function and develop tactics to attain the budget.Perform cost variance analyses in key indicators (forecast vs. actual)Capital expenditure (Capex) / Operating expense managementTarget battery cell price development; establish target cell price and facilitate the concurrence discussion among the stakeholdersAssist functional teams with budget questions and provide guideline on PR/PO process (GL, cost center, approval line)Perform ad hoc analyses to provide financial recommendations to the leadershipHandle confidential information in a discreet and professional manner Education & Experience Minimum 5 years of Financial Planning & Analysis or relevant experience Strong analytical, independent work capability, financial modeling, and reporting skills Break-work-in-silo mentality Time, Quantity, Quality trade-off management Communication and presentation skills Bilingual in English and Korean Preferred Knowledge in the automotive or/and battery industry and manufacturingSAP experienceCorporate finance Total Rewards Information We offer market-competitive compensation including base pay and incentive compensation opportunities based on the achievement of Company goals.
